Pferdemarkt Heilbronn / Smashing Weather / Mark Gillespie & Tom Drost  

I have often heard and wondered, that weekends have particularly good weather as opposed to weekdays do. This was indeed proved right last weekend and hence the scene was set for busking at the Pferdemarkt (Horsefair) in Heilbronn. Arriving in at 10:30 Saturday morning I set up my pitch at the park on the south-east side of the Fair, from where I had  hundreds of pedestrians passing me over the two days. Mark Gillespie & Tom Drost were also in the city and played just down the path on their pitch. A young 17y.o busker called Kim was in between both acts and much fun was had by all especially on the Sunday in the warm weather having coffee and watching each other's sets. There was also a brief encounter with a SWR4 radio producer which may spawn an on the air Saoirse Mhór feature. Stayed tuned ( what a pun! )  for more on that.
