The afternoon sun beat down on the stage in Zweibrücken and had us tuning the guitars and pipes literally after every song. Nevertheless we had a great time in the Rose Town in Germany's southwesterly city. The highlight of the day was the guest appearence of Saoirse's eldest daughter Blue playing the Bódhran. She is an up and coming rhythm talent and she handled her first live perfomance with ease. It's a great rumble when two or three Bódhrans are hammering away together.
